Delete your UB Trax account
You can delete your UB Trax account and its data yourself, at any time — in the UB Trax app or on track.ubtrax.com. It takes a minute and happens at once.
How
- Sign in to the UB Trax app, or at track.ubtrax.com.
- Open Account.
- Choose Delete my account at the foot of the page, enter your password and confirm.
What is deleted
- Your account: your name, email address, phone number, password and every sign-in.
- Your cars and everything recorded for them: location history and trips, alerts, zones, and the documents and dates you entered.
- Your settings, and the notification tokens of your phones.
Tracking stops at the same moment, and any time left on a tracker is lost. This cannot be undone.
What we keep
- The serial number of your tracker and the date it was paid up to. They do not say who you are; we keep them so that the tracker can be put back in use.
- Backup copies of our database made before the deletion. Each is overwritten within 14 days.
- Technical server logs, which can hold a tracker’s connections from before the deletion. They are deleted within 30 days.
- A record of any card payment you made stays with our payment provider, as the law requires.
Company accounts
A user of a company account removes their own sign-in in the same way; the company’s vehicles stay with the company. The company’s owner closes the whole company account in the same place: every vehicle and its history, every user, and the papers the company registered with are deleted at once.
Cannot sign in?
Use Forgot your password? first. If that does not help, email support@ubtrax.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We confirm the request with you and delete the account within 30 days.
